How it works
Choose what the code should contain, fill in the fields, and the preview updates as you type. The content is encoded into a QR symbol in your browser - nothing is sent anywhere.
Different content types are just different text formats agreed on by scanning apps. A Wi-Fi code is a short string describing the network name, security type and password. A contact card is a vCard record. The generator builds the correct format for you.
Error correction decides how much of the code can be damaged or obscured while still scanning. Higher levels add redundancy, which makes the pattern denser but more robust. Level M is a good default; use Q or H if the code will be printed small, placed on a curved surface, or partly covered by a logo.
PNG suits screens and most printing. SVG is a vector, so it stays sharp at any size - use it for large-format printing, signage or anything that may be resized later.

Frequently asked questions
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. The QR code is generated in your browser using JavaScript. Nothing you type - including Wi-Fi passwords - is sent to VSThiran or any other server.
Do these QR codes expire?
No. The content is encoded directly into the pattern, so the code works forever and does not depend on VSThiran staying online. There is no tracking and no redirect.
Which error correction level should I choose?
L stores the most data in the smallest pattern but is least tolerant of damage. M is the usual default. Q and H add redundancy for codes that will be small, printed on uneven surfaces, or partly covered.
Why does more text make the code denser?
A QR symbol grows in size as it stores more data. Long URLs and full contact cards produce finer patterns, which need to be printed larger to stay scannable. Keeping the content short keeps the code easy to scan.
