My name is Vishal Senthilkumar.
The name VSThiran brings together my identity, VS, with Thiran (திறன்) — a Tamil word meaning skill, ability and capability.
Through my work with technology, business, data and digital systems, I have always been interested in finding practical ways to solve problems and make complicated things simpler.
That became the idea behind VSThiran.
I want to build a place where people around the world can come to calculate something, convert something, create something, understand something or solve a small digital problem quickly and easily.
I also believe useful knowledge should not be limited by money, location or technical ability. Wherever possible, the goal is to keep useful tools and knowledge free for everyone, for the long term.
VSThiran is being built one useful tool and one useful piece of knowledge at a time.
