Why a QR code generator does not need a server
A QR code is a deterministic encoding of whatever text you give it. Nothing needs to be looked up, stored or shortened, so the whole thing can be worked out in the page - which is what happens here.
That matters more than it sounds for the Wi-Fi and contact-card modes, because those encode a network password and a person's phone number. Neither is transmitted anywhere: the code is drawn in your browser and the download comes from the same tab.
Codes that keep working
The codes produced here contain your data directly rather than pointing at a redirect on our domain. A code generated on a service that shortens the link stops working the day that service does; one that encodes the address itself keeps working for as long as the address does.
There is no tracking, no scan counter and no expiry, which also means there is nothing to sign up for.

Do the codes expire or stop working?
No. The code contains your data directly rather than a redirect through this site, so there is nothing that can expire and nothing of ours that has to stay online for it to keep working.
Is my Wi-Fi password or contact information sent anywhere?
No. The code is generated in your browser, and the download comes from the same page. Nothing you type is transmitted to VSThiran or anyone else.
Why is there only one tool in this section?
Because only one tool genuinely belongs here. Utilities is for things that do not fit the other groups, and padding it out with tools that would be easier to find elsewhere would make the site worse, not better.
